Chapter 17: Dynein-dependent Early Endosome Movement in Aspergillus nidulans
Dynein-dependent Early Endosome Movement in Aspergillus nidulans
Dynein-dependent early endosome movement in Aspergillus nidulans. In this experiment, the culture of a temperature-sensitive (ts) dynein heavy chain mutant nudA1 was shifted from a restrictive temperature (42°C) to a permissive temperature (25°C), which led to retrograde movement of early endosomes away from the hyphal tip compartment where they had abnormally accumulated. Time is given in seconds:milliseconds. This movie was published as a supplemental movie in Abenza et al., 2009 Traffic 10, 57-75 (provided by Miguel A. Peñalva).
